Day of Giving was a one-day online fundraising event on Nov. 2, 2017 from midnight to midnight. All members of the Fresno State community participated, including students, parents, staff, faculty, alumni, friends and community leaders. The goal was to have as many participants as possible come together to raise financial support for student success. Fresno State rallied 1,138 unique donors from 29 states and three countries and raised $431,395!
The Kremen School was in full force for 24 hours to gather as many donors as possible while raising money for causes such as the Fresno Family Counseling Center, Bilingual Preschool Education and the Next Generation Education Initiative. The Kremen School was able to raise $18,480 in donations and close to $3,000 in challenge winnings.
With a huge success, the Kremen School ranked 3rd out of 15 donation categories for total number of donors with 146 donors! Passing Craig School of Business, the Alumni Association, and Student Affairs!
